Our refuges are safe and temporary places to stay.  Refuges are about safety, support and the opportunity to talk with other women who have had similar experiences to yourself and knowing you are not alone.  In the refuge, you will not be judged or blamed for the abuse that happened.  Through sharing your feelings and listening to others, you can make friends and start to regain your self confidence.

We aim to make our refuges homely and comfortable by furnishing and equipping them as fully as we can.  All refuges are located in the Cumbernauld area, the addresses of which must remain confidential at all times.

All refuges are fully furnished with cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, settee, colour TV, bedding, beds – cots are provided if required.
